La morsure

Interface 1

displays a single image-sequence across the screen horizontally in five windows, allowing the spectator to observe a choreographed movement in its successive phases. The graphic design alludes to the description of movement seen in chronophotography. With lateral movements of the mouse, the images disappear one by one to be replaced by a new series of images. Each gesture revealing images also produces musical phrases. Following the introduction of phrases from Julio Cortazar's poem, the appearance and order of the visual and sound elements of the interface are programmed in a random fashion.
