I arrived in Paris in October 1994.

Enamoured by the French culture and language, I nevertheless found myself in an ugly urban zone with concrete everywhere and streets with Communist names. Where was I ? What was I doing here ? The unusual setting of Scènes Saint-Denis became a refuge, a whimsical space for the imagination.

Years later, after all trace of the original footage has disappeared, I look back and repiece these fleeting moments together again.
