During the school year 2002, a film was made documenting various aspects of a course I taught at Université Paris 8. Designed to give students hands-on experience of creating dance images for films, CD-Roms, installations or live performance, classes combined image theory and analysis in the 1st semester and a workshop held at Gare au Théâtre, Ivry-sur-Seine in February 2002. Following one of four groups of students (one of whom shot the footage), it shows the steps of creation from improvisations, rehearsals, shooting on to editing at the Department Informatique pour Tous under the supervision of Michel Saintourens and myself.
